Job summary

Link Apartments Lake Park is seeking a full-time Service Technician to handle maintenance, prepare apartments for occupancy and run preventative programs, reporting to the Property Manager. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills, HVAC certification and a willingness to obtain a pool operator license.

Must be flexible to evenings and weekends. You will be responsible for completing work orders within 24 hours and maintaining a safe, clean

Qualifications

• Two to five years of maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of heat pumps, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
• HVAC certification; willing to obtain a Certified Pool Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain HVAC, plumbing, roofs and recreational facilities.
• Assist with turning vacant apartments into make-ready units and inspections.
• Provide written explanations of work performed in each unit.
• Maintain clean, safe, and well-maintained community with good resident relations.
• Assist with pool operation and maintenance per local rules.
• Complete all work orders within 24 hours.
• Share 24-hour emergency call duties.
• Learn all aspects of on-site maintenance and preparing apartments for occupancy.
• Keep tools and equipment in good condition.
• Report hazardous or unusual situations.
