Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician in West Windsor, NJ to diagnose and repair systems, and to keep apartments rent-ready. The role requires 2-3 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to participate in an on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in maintenance work, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work on-call in monthly rotation.
• Ability to communicate with residents and team.
• Ability to read policies and SDS.
• Knowledge of PPE and safety procedures.
• Basic understanding of emergency systems and shutoffs.
• Familiarity with paint types and tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, safety systems.
• Completes service requests promptly and to standards.
• Ensures vacant apartment homes are rent-ready in a timely manner.
• Conducts apartment preventative maintenance.
• Assists in painting interior and exterior surfaces.
• Maintains safety culture and reports unsafe conditions.
• Performs hot works including brazing, soldering, and welding.
