Job summary

Bell Partners in Washington, DC area is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine interior and exterior maintenance, repairs, and groundskeeping across the community. You will respond to resident requests, coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance while upholding Bell Core Values.

The ideal candidate is 18+, high school diploma, 1-3 years’ maintenance experience, basic HVAC/plumbing/electrical skills, and availability weekdays, evenings, and

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of Bell Core Values.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical skills.
• HVAC/EPA/CPO certifications may be required depending on location.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
• Physical requirements including lifting up to 80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine interior and exterior community maintenance and equipment upkeep.
• Respond to resident repair requests and maintenance concerns promptly.
• Maintain safety, clean work areas, and report hazards to supervisor.
• Coordinate with vendors for landscaping, painting, asphalt, etc.
• Attend in-service training and education sessions.
• Ensure resident privacy and proper access protocols.
