Job summary

Bell Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our community teams. You will perform interior and exterior maintenance, handle repairs, and respond to resident requests with safety and quality in mind.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of maintenance experience, basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry skills, and strong customer service. Availability weekdays, evenings, and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School degree or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical skills.
• HVAC, EPA and/or CPO certifications may be required in many communities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Availability to work weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff.
• Perform routine interior and exterior community maintenance and equipment service as scheduled.
• Respond to repair requests and maintenance concerns from residents and staff.
• Report equipment malfunctions and hazardous conditions to the Maintenance Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain resident privacy and obtain proper authority before entering apartments.
• Ensure maintenance items are kept in a safe area to prevent injuries.
• Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
• Coordinate with vendors for landscaping, painting, asphalt, etc.
• Follow all safety/OSHA requirements and maintain regular attendance.
