Job summary

B5 Recruiting is partnering with a large property management organization to hire several Maintenance Technicians in Huntersville, NC. You will help keep residences safe, attractive, and well-maintained, working closely with the property management team on a contract-to-hire basis.

Responsibilities include turning units for new residents, completing work orders, performing preventive maintenance, and handling basic plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, roofing, and flooring tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of related HVAC experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Own set of tools.
• Local to Huntersville, NC; HVAC/CFC/CPO certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare apartments for new residents (turns & move-outs).
• Complete work orders efficiently and professionally.
• Keep exterior areas clean and well-presented (curb appeal).
• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance.
• Daily trash pickup and grounds upkeep.
• Maintain trash compactors and swimming pools (in season).
• Check irrigation systems.
• Maintain accurate records of work and materials used.
• Participate in the on-call maintenance rotation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Troubleshoot and repair: Plumbing, Basic electrical, Appliances, Carpentry & drywall, Roofing & flooring.
