Tarantino-Properties, Inc. in Houston is seeking a Maintenance Tech to ensure the upkeep of the building and grounds through routine tasks and timely work orders.

You will prepare market-ready apartments, perform painting, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry tasks, and maintain pools, common areas, and amenities while delivering superior resident service. The role requires knowledge of HVAC systems, basic plumbing, and general maintenance, with a focus on safety, teamwork, and adherence to company

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC systems, furnaces, and plumbing.
• Experience with apartment maintenance, make-ready processes, and work order systems.
• HVAC EPA certification preferred; pool certification preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepares Market Ready apartments, including painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general maintenance to ensure quality move-in experience.
• Responds to resident requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintains grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and amenity spaces.
• Repairs and performs scheduled maintenance as directed by supervisor.
• Reports maintenance issues on vacant units and common areas to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Upholds safety, fair housing laws, and Tarantino appearance standards.

Latitude 2976 Apartments is currently seeking a Maintenance Tech to ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds through routine procedures and special work orders.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares Market Ready apartments, which include painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping duties, and any necessary duties to provide our residents with that quality move in experience.
• Responds to resident requests in a timely manner and with a professional attitude.
• Has knowledge of maintenance functions such as plumbing, HVAC, basic electric, general carpentry skills, painting, and snow removal (if applicable).
• Maintains grounds, pools/ hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities to keep clean, operational, and safe for our residents.
• Reports any maintenance concerns on vacant units, models, and common areas, to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Performs maintenance as scheduled by the Maintenance supervisor.
• Knowledgeable of state, local, and federal fair housing laws.
• Performs duties as assigned, in a timely manner.
• Delivers superior customer service and represents the company in a professional manner at all times.
• Dresses per Tarantino appearance standards.
• Maintains and safeguards all company tools and equipment.
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

• HVAC (EPA) certification preferred
• Pool certification preferred
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, furnaces, and plumbing
• Experience with apartment maintenance, make-ready processes, and work order systems
• Must have high experience and good team building relationships.
