Job summary

Greystar is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our Seattle-area communities. You will handle resident service requests, perform repairs, and assist with make-ready for new move-ins, contributing to a high standard of service and property upkeep.

You will maintain interiors and exteriors, coordinate with vendors, document work orders, and uphold safety standards. The role includes a mix of hands-on maintenance, customer service, and routine inspections to ensure comfortable living

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Experience with painting, entry level carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing.
• High level of professionalism in both manner and dress.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and making repairs.
• Prepares vacant apartments for leasing by completing the make-ready process and pre-move-out inspections.
• Maintains inventory, tracks material usage, and documents work performed.
• Supports grounds, common areas, and amenities maintenance and coordinates with vendors as needed.
