Schulte Hospitality Group in Tampa, FL seeks a Maintenance Technician for Grand Opening of Hotel Cala. This role oversees the property grounds, public areas and guest rooms, performing preventative maintenance and responding to orders to maintain high standards.

Ideal candidates bring HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills, plus strong communication. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a path for growth within a rapidly expanding hospitality group.

Formación

• Minimum of two to three years in a hotel maintenance role (experience preferred).
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms.
• Performs preventative maintenance and responds to maintenance orders promptly.
• Checks fixtures, lighting and signs; maintains spare parts and bulbs.
• Completes daily rounds and reports issues; performs other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms
• Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs
• Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner
• Fulfills work orders in a timely manner
• Completed daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems
• Perform various other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of three (2) years in a hotel maintenance position preferred
• Preferred but not necessary, one (1) year of college or trade school equivalent in a mechanical, electrical, and/or technical disciplines
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Basic math skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
