Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group in Tampa seeks a dynamic Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and inspire a team as we open a new luxury hotel. You will oversee suites and public areas, train staff, ensure safety standards, and coordinate maintenance with engineering, while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will manage daily operations, ensure high cleanliness standards, and support a culture of service excellence during a grand opening and ongoing property operations in a vibrant hospitality

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years in leadership Housekeeping position.
• Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspects all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair.
• Ensure that all associates have proper supplies, equipment and uniform including nametag, gloves and goggles.
• Train associates on safety standards and enforce those standards on a consistent basis. Identify associates engaging in unsafe behaviors and retrain them appropriately. Complete accident investigations and take steps to prevent future accidents.
• Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming and cleaning.
• Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.
• Randomly selects assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness.
• Perform opening and closing shift duties.
• Notifies GM and/or Chief Engineer of maintenance repairs necessary.
• Monitor cleanliness of hotel including parking lot and exterior entrances.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when required.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives
