Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team as we prepare for the Grand Opening of Hotel Cala in Tampa, January 2027. You will lead a service‑oriented housekeeping team, ensuring suites and public areas meet top standards and coordinating daily operations across shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years in leadership Housekeeping position.
• High School education required; post-high school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect suites and public areas to ensure cleanliness and good repair.
• Ensure associates have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
• Train associates on safety standards and enforce them; conduct accidents investigations as needed.
• Perform housekeeping duties including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning.
• Monitor status of rooms and update as needed.
• Open/close shift duties; notify management of repairs.
• Oversee hotel cleanliness including exterior areas; act as Manager on Duty when required.
• Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspects all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair.
• Ensure that all associates have proper supplies, equipment and uniform including nametag , gloves and goggles.
• Train associates on safety standards and enforce those standards on a consistent basis. Identify associates engaging in unsafe behaviors and retrain them appropriately. Complete accident investigations and take steps to prevent future accidents.
• Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming and cleaning.
• Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.
• Randomly selects assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness.
• Perform opening and closing shift duties.
• Notifies GM and/or Chief Engineer of maintenance repairs necessary.
• Monitor cleanliness of hotel including parking lot and exterior entrances.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when required .
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of two (2) years in leadership Housekeeping position
• Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred

KNO WLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
