Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations at our Tampa-area hotel. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, safety compliance, and guest room upkeep in a hospitality setting.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year in hotel maintenance with HVAC/plumbing/electrical knowledge, plus supervisory potential. The position offers full-time hours and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school education; post high school education preferred.
• Minimum of one year in a hotel maintenance position; supervisory experience preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance functions follow brand standards for safety and compliance.
• Fulfill preventative maintenance programs and satisfy brand standards.
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry tasks in guest areas.
• Perform routine repairs in guest rooms and public spaces as needed.
• Supervise and participate in preventive maintenance schedules and safety procedures.
• Assist other departments and educate staff on emergency procedures.
• Act as Manager on Duty when required and handle guest requests.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To ensure that all maintenance functions, including preventative maintenance are following company and
• brand standards for compliance and safety
• Ensures fulfillment of preventative maintenance programs o brand standards including equipment, heating
• and air conditioning units, ice machines, fire extinguishers/smoke alarms, plumbing
• Completes preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public space
• Ensures swimming pool and spa maintenance duties are performed according to brand standards and health department regulations
• Proactively follow specific departmental procedures in performing repair, maintenance, alteration, and installation work in a safe and neat manner.
• Delegate, supervise, and participate in all preventive and general maintenance programs by maintaining a room's maintenance strategy and scheduling preventive maintenance
• Assists other departments in fulfilling guest requests and resolving guest concerns
• Educated hotel personnel on emergency procedures and safety precautions
• Acts as Manager on Duty when required
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives

• Minimum of High School education, post high school education preferred
