Job summary
Mars, Incorporated in Topeka, KS seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain and optimize high-speed packaging and processing equipment at our state-of-the-art facility. Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent civilian/military education.
- Technical degree, trade school certification, OR 2+ years of maintenance experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot AC/DC electrical components with testing gear.
- Familiarity with schematics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on packaging equipment, processing systems and panels.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical failures.
- Participate in Mars Supply Excellence (MSE) teams and operator training.
- Own maintenance planning, scheduling and breakdown elimination for assigned lines.
- Analyze data to support 90-day loss-elimination plans.
- Represent maintenance in FMOS meetings with data-driven plans.
