Life Care Centers of America seeks a Maintenance Assistant for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Florida. The role performs routine and preventive maintenance to keep the facility safe, compliant with laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

You will inspect equipment, assist with repairs and replacements, and support patient care operations. The job requires independent judgment, team collaboration, and adherence to codes of conduct and safety policies.

Qualificações

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of one year maintenance experience preferred.
• Proven knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems preferred.
• Knowledge of local building codes and ordinance preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
• Inspect equipment and systems regularly for proper functioning and safety.
• Run errands and handle incoming and outgoing freight; lift and move heavy items.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Demonstrate good judgment and problem-solving.
• Coordinate with an interdisciplinary team.
• Follow safety and sanitation standards.

Formação académica

High school graduate or equivalent preferred

Minimum of one year maintenance experience preferred

Proven knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems preferred
