Job summary

Ohio Living seeks a Maintenance Technician to oversee HVAC, electrical, and general facility maintenance. You will perform routine and unscheduled tasks, complete work orders promptly, and ensure a clean, safe environment for residents and staff.

Essential duties include preventive HVAC work, repairs on boilers and pumps, and coordination with other departments. A high school diploma and 3 years of maintenance experience are required; HVAC and boiler certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years in a maintenance role required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, boilers, compressors, and generators.

Responsibilities

• Performs HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and finishing maintenance on facilities and grounds.
• Maintains HVAC equipment through preventative schedules and cycles.
• Troubleshoots and repairs HVAC, pumps, motors, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Informs supervisor of supply and equipment needs and completes work orders within 24–48 hours.
• Ensures a clean, safe environment; escorts vendors and trains staff as needed.
• Coordinates maintenance with other departments and supports security duties as back-up.
