KVC Camber Children's Mental Health in Wichita, KS seeks a dependable Maintenance Worker to repair drywall, plumbing, electrical systems, and perform general upkeep of facilities. This full-time role covers Tue-Sat 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with on-call rotation and requires basic maintenance skills and a valid driver’s license.

Must be 20+ and have at least a 10th-grade education; high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

Must be 20 years of age or older to apply.
Completion of at least 10th grade required; high school diploma or GED preferred.
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
Ability to successfully complete pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting and moving materials and equipment.
Basic hands-on trade and maintenance skills.
Ability to participate in an on-call rotation for urgent facility needs.

Responsibilities

Repairing drywall, patching walls, and painting.
Troubleshooting and repairing basic plumbing issues, including pipes, fixtures, and leaks.
Performing minor electrical repairs.
Repairing doors, windows, furniture, fences, and other facility items.
Building shelves and other functional items.
Completing grounds upkeep, snow removal, and minor exterior repairs.
Responding to urgent facility issues as part of an on-call rotation.
Identifying maintenance problems before they become bigger problems.
Completing other maintenance and facility-related duties as needed.
