Job summary
Belmont Properties is hiring Maintenance Technicians to keep our affordable housing communities safe, functional, and ready for new residents. We offer competitive pay, health and life insurance, a tool allowance, and ongoing training. The role requires responding to work orders, maintaining units, and using digital tools to log tasks.
Schedule is Monday–Friday 8AM–4PM with on-call rotation. EPA HVAC/OSHA certifications are preferred.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in general maintenance or building repairs
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry basics
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Ability to safely operate tools, ladders, and equipment
Responsibilities
- Respond to work orders and resident repair requests
- Turn vacant units quickly and with high quality
- Handle general maintenance across HVAC, plumbing and electrical
- Complete scheduled preventive maintenance tasks
- Keep accurate logs using mobile tools like Yardi Breeze Premier
