Job summary

Belmont Properties is seeking Maintenance Technicians to ensure our affordable housing communities are safe, functional, and ready for new residents. The role involves responding to work orders, turning vacant units quickly, and performing HVAC, plumbing and electrical tasks across campuses.

Bi-weekly pay $20-$24/hour with bonuses and on-call stipend, plus benefits and training opportunities. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8AM-4PM with on-call rotation; valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in general maintenance or building repairs.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry basics.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Ability to safely operate tools, ladders, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders and resident repair requests.
• Turn vacant units quickly and with high quality.
• Handle general maintenance across HVAC, plumbing and electrical.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.
• Keep accurate logs using mobile tools like Yardi Breeze Premier.

Belmont Properties is currently searching for Maintenance Technicians to ensure our affordable housing communities are safe, functional, and ready for new residents.

Founded in 1987, we have a longstanding tradition of providing affordable housing without compromise. We are currently managing 52 properties across four states with dedication to both our residents and the communities we serve.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday
• 8AM-4PM
• On-call rotation

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in general maintenance or building repairs
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry basics
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Ability to safely operate tools, ladders, and equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

• EPA HVAC Certification, OSHA- 10/30, or trade licenses
• Experience with RentCafe or other digital work order systems
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
