Job summary

RealManage is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician in Melbourne, FL to help keep community properties safe, clean, and well-maintained. The role works closely with the Maintenance Manager, focusing on preventative care, timely repairs, and consistent upkeep for residents.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of maintenance experience, possess a valid driver’s license, and can perform carpentry, concrete, doors, drywall, fencing, plumbing, and painting tasks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Experience with carpentry, concrete, doors, drywall, fencing, plumbing, and painting is required.
• Experience with cleaning, locks and gutters is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on community property and equipment.
• Manage and complete work orders through the work order system.
• Conduct general maintenance, janitorial duties, and groundskeeping.
• Carry out regular inspections of grounds, common areas, and buildings.
• Identify and report needed repairs, improvements, and safety concerns to the Maintenance Manager.
• Apply knowledge in carpentry, concrete, doors, drywall, fencing, cleaning, gutters, locks, plumbing, and painting.
