Job summary

Olympus Property is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the service and office teams at West Oaks, Texas. The role covers repair and maintenance of property facilities and apartment homes to meet or exceed standards.

You will perform plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair, diagnose HVAC, replace filters, and maintain equipment and inventory. Eligibility: 2+ years of maintenance experience; EPA/HVAC license preferred; full-time schedule Monday–Friday with emergency availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of commercial, residential, or apartment maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and/or an EPA/HVAC license.
• Available for emergencies as needed.
• Full-time, Monday–Friday 9 AM–6 PM (hours may vary slightly).

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance requests with knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, appliance repair, etc.
• Preventative maintenance and diagnosis on HVAC units, replacing filters, and cleaning coils.
• Repair and replace kitchen appliances, refrigerators, stoves, washers and dryers, ovens, and microwaves.
• Minor to moderate plumbing repairs, replacements, and installation.
• Repair or replace sink/shower/toilet fixtures.
• Repair or replace electrical fixtures and switches.
• Lock changes, lockouts, and replace doors, doorknobs, and lock systems.
• Operate various hand and power tools.
• Track service requests and maintenance work through software systems.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, interior and exterior common areas, and pools.
• Work with Lead Maintenance Technician on daily/weekly priorities.
• Available for emergency maintenance requests.
