Bell Partners in Florida seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of interior and exterior maintenance tasks at our community. You will respond to resident requests, perform repairs, and coordinate with vendors while keeping residents’ privacy and safety in mind.

You should have 1–3 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and strong communication and customer service skills. HVAC/EPA/CPO certifications may be required in some communities.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC, EPA, and/or CPO certifications may be required in many communities.

Responsibilities

• Always show respect for residents and community staff, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform routine interior and exterior maintenance, as well as equipment maintenance as scheduled and requested.
• Respond to all repair requests and maintenance concerns from residents and staff.
• Report equipment malfunctions and breakdowns as well as any hazardous conditions to the Maintenance Supervisor in a timely manner.
• Maintain resident privacy and receive proper authority before entering resident apartments.
• Ensure that all maintenance items are kept in a safe area to prevent injuries.
• Attend in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
• Work with vendors as instructed, such as landscaping, painting, asphalt, etc.
• Follow all safety/OSHA requirements
