Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience in a similar facility.
• Basic repair knowledge: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• HVAC/EPA/CPO certifications may be required depending on community needs.
• Excellent oral and written communication; strong customer service skills.
• Availability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff.
• Perform routine interior and exterior maintenance and equipment maintenance.
• Respond to repair requests and maintenance concerns.
• Maintain resident privacy and obtain proper authority before entering apartments.
• Ensure maintenance items are stored safely to prevent injuries.
• Attend in-service training and education sessions.
• Coordinate with vendors for landscaping, painting, or asphalt work.
• Follow all OSHA safety requirements.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
