Bell Partners Inc. in Alexandria, VA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform interior and exterior upkeep, repairs, and preventive maintenance across our community.

You will respond to resident and staff requests, perform equipment maintenance, and help ensure safe, well-maintained living spaces. The role requires 1–3 years of experience in maintenance, basic HVAC/plumbing/electrical skills, and a customer-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• High School degree or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical systems.
• HVAC, EPA and/or CPO certifications may be required depending on community.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine interior and exterior community maintenance and equipment upkeep.
• Respond to repair requests and maintenance concerns from residents and staff.
• Report equipment malfunctions and hazardous conditions to the Maintenance Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain resident privacy and safety before entering apartments.
• Ensure maintenance items are kept in safe areas to prevent injuries.
• Attend in-service training; collaborate with vendors as needed (landscaping, painting, etc.).
• Follow all safety/OSHA requirements and maintain regular attendance.
