Job summary

The NRP Group LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for one of our Cleveland market-rate properties, The Collins or Library Lofts.

Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping services to ensure excellent curb appeal and quality of apartment homes, and responding to customer service requests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CFC Universal Certification preferred.
• Must obtain CFC within 90 days of hire.
• 3–4 years of maintenance experience; computer proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial tasks.
• Maintain storage areas and materials.
• Renovate apartments per company standards.
• Walk the property daily to ensure curb appeal and quality.
• Notify Community Manager of safety concerns and participate in safety meetings.
• Maintain knowledge of property-specific issues such as asbestos.
• Perform other duties as required and keep task records updated.
• Assist with scheduling staff and vendor coordination; cover on weekends.
