Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or some college credits in a technical field.
• Experience in apartment maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and repairs.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals and write routine reports.
• Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions and solve problems.
• Positive attitude and good humor while delivering service.

Responsibilities

• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain effective teamwork with staff.
• Identify and report broken equipment or uncertain conditions to the supervisor.
• Keep work areas clean and safe per regulations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and the building.
• Maintain a positive customer service attitude with residents.
