Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous maintenance experience is preferred.
• Good handyman skills with plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge.
• Familiarity with common tools and repair techniques.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems requested.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily maintenance in resident apartments and throughout the community.
• Assess, assign, and follow up on daily work orders.
• Ensure completed work orders are filed properly.
• Analyze mechanical data regarding heat and water problems.
• Perform daily repairs to common areas and systems.
• Assist the Director of Maintenance on pumps, motors, fans, generators, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Provide preventative maintenance on tools, equipment and supplies.
• Maintain inventory and tool control.
