Job summary

RHP Properties, Inc. in Inver Grove Heights, MN is seeking a Maintenance Technician (FT) to perform general grounds and lawn maintenance and basic repairs to homes within the Skyline Village community.

The role is 40 hours per week with on-call duties and requires a minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, and carpentry. Tools may be provided by the employee.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid operator’s license and good driving record.
• May need to provide own tools.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance to ensure homes and community areas are in proper condition.
• Execute assigned work orders and report status to the Community Manager timely.
• Promote courtesy and cooperation with residents, visitors and staff.
• Identify deficiencies and take action with manager approval.
• Maintain community grounds, perform weed control, lawn care, and plantings.
• Remove garbage and dispose properly from grounds and resident sites.
• Perform snow removal using available methods.
• Report residents' waste issues and coordinate pickups as needed.
• Maintain inventories of maintenance equipment and supplies.
• Keep garage/storage areas orderly and clean.
• Comply with health and safety laws to protect residents and staff.
• Remain available for on-call duties and participate in refurbishing community-owned homes.
• Perform repairs on water and sewer lines.
• Possess the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
