Sun Communities, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Colorado to perform routine and preventative maintenance across our communities. You will handle home/building upkeep, grounds maintenance, and customer service for residents.

The role requires outdoor work, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and the flexibility for on-call shifts. Join a team focused on safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal across Sun’s properties.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• 6 months maintenance experience in the apartment/manufactured housing industry (Preferred).
• 6 months snow removal experience (Preferred).
• 6 months general maintenance knowledge (Preferred).
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures.
• Ability to work on-call schedule.
• Proficient with hand tools, power equipment, and commercial machinery.
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and grounds maintenance.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures trash/debris is picked up daily from common areas and streets.
• Completes minor repairs to rental homes and facilities as needed.
• Inspects irrigation system regularly and repairs as needed.
• Maintains vacant sites, including strap-downs and removal of trash and debris.
• Removes snow from community streets, parking lots, building entrances and other areas Sun is responsible for maintaining.
• Maintains lawns and performs landscaping tasks including weed control, mulching, and pruning.
• Ensures all streets and public access routes are hazards-free.
• Performs water testing and maintenance for well-water/sewer systems as applicable.
• Reports maintenance issues to the manager.
• Completes pre/post-occupancy condition checklists.
• Maintains curb appeal and overall presentability of the community.
• Cleans building facilities such as clubhouse, offices, restrooms, laundry, and maintenance areas.
• Assists manager with supervision of service contractors.
• Inspects recreation areas and pools; performs minor repairs.
• Assists with move-in/move-out spotting.
• Maintains community pools and tests/adjusts chemical levels.
• Maintains community vehicles and equipment.
• Follows safety procedures and operates vehicles between sites.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
