A Maintenance Technician (Maintenance Mechanic, Electrician) is responsible for performing ongoing equipment maintenance and repairs. Duties include fixing machinery, wiring, inspecting equipment for safety standards, and scheduling major repairs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules, with backup plans for discrepancies.
• Monitor maintenance progress and update records in ERP systems.
• Inspect equipment conditions and perform maintenance to ensure stability.
• Manage spare parts and tools for maintenance tasks.
• Identify and replace broken parts or damaged wiring.
• Address equipment failures proactively and perform necessary repairs.
• Implement measures to prevent recurrence of failures.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance routines.
• Address safety hazards to prevent injuries.
• Work various shifts, including nights and overtime, as required.
• Create and maintain documentation like SOPs and manuals.
• Analyze breakdowns and performance data to identify improvements.
• Provide training and coaching to technician personnel.

Qualifications

• Two years of college or technical training (preferred).
• Over one year of experience in the semiconductor industry (preferred).
• Experience with semiconductor and manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to work under pressure, in a team, and handle physical tasks.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring, plumbing, and CAD software.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long hours, and work irregular hours.
• Safety and quality conscious, goal-oriented, and customer-focused.
