Job summary

Cirrus Apartments in Ashland, MA is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to uphold the safety and integrity of the community. Responsibilities include general repairs, vacant unit readiness, grounds upkeep, and coordinating with vendors to secure parts.

The position requires hands-on experience with plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and related systems, plus the ability to lift 50 lbs and travel for parts as needed. Benefits include health, vacation, 401K, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in property maintenance or related fieldwork.
• Own tools and transportation to pick up parts from vendors.
• HVAC certified and CAMT/CPO certifications preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, and work on rooftops.

Responsibilities

• Address resident service and maintenance requests promptly.
• Communicate status of service requests to residents and staff.
• Maintain property condition and correct unsafe conditions.
• Keep records of preventive maintenance and work performed.
• Perform make-ready repairs and prepare vacant apartments.
• Rake, sweep and maintain grounds as needed.
• Assist with locks and keys as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
