Job summary

Cirrus Asset Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to manage work orders and apartment turnovers for Bull Run (176 units). The role involves maintaining electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems and performing general repairs while ensuring health and safety standards are met.

Must have at least 1 year of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma. On-call rotation and a 8a–5p schedule are in place; compensation is $22–$24 per hour with benefits included.

Qualifications

• 1 year of maintenance technician experience required.
• Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required.
• High school diploma.
• HVAC and CMRP certifications are a plus.
• General maintenance knowledge and ability to use common tools and devices.
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders within designated time frame.
• Complete turnover on all apartments that move out within 5 days of move out.
• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to meet health and safety standards.
• Repair electrical systems (light bulbs, sockets, circuit breaker panels).
• Maintain and repair plumbing and heating components.
• Prime and paint interior and exterior surfaces.
• Maintain and repair locks, doors, and controllers.
• Document fire extinguishers, alarms, and building systems.

Job Description

• Complete work orders within designated time frame
• Complete turn over on all apartments that move out within 5 days of move out
• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)
• Maintain and repair plumbing and heating components
• Prepare, prime, and paint building interior and exterior surfaces
• Maintain and repair locks, locking mechanisms, closers, doors, and controllers.
• Maintain and complete documentation for fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, building alarm contacts and other building systems
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Document work performance and materials procurement as directed

Qualifications

• Previous working experience as a Maintenance Technician for (1) year(s)- Required
• Current driver's license, reliable transportation and current auto insurance - Required
• High school diploma
• Any additional relevant certification will be considered an advantage (HVAC, CMRP etc.)
• In depth knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Applicable knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Problem solving aptitude

Additional Information

Bull Run - 176 units

$22-$24 per hour

Monday - Friday 8a to 5p; rotate on call
