Base pay range

$16.00/hr - $17.00/hr

Position Summary

As a Maintenance Technician, you will have high guest contact, providing service to every guest in a professional, efficient, and friendly manner. Your responsibilities include maintaining the general condition of the property, performing basic electrical, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, and painting work, completing maintenance work orders from all departments promptly, participating in preventative maintenance programs, and handling special projects as assigned by the Chief Engineer.

Physical Responsibilities

• Exerting physical effort in lifting/transporting at least 50 pounds.
• Push/pull carts and equipment up to 250 pounds.
• Work in various physical environments, including working on stepladders, in indoor and outdoor settings, and around fumes, odors, dust, mites, and chemicals.
• Stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Good understanding of English, with strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of general building maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC.
• Use and repair of common maintenance tools and equipment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a commercial electrician or in related trades (plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
• No supervisory experience required.
• Certification/licenses are not required.
