Job summary

Solution One Industries is seeking a Maintenance Technician based in El Paso, TX to support CBP operations in West Texas and New Mexico. Responsibilities include electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance planning.

The role requires a strong maintenance background, adherence to ISO/AS9100 standards, and collaboration with CBP and cross-functional teams. Travel to various sites and working with a maintenance contract vehicle may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational or trade school program or equivalent apprenticeship (HVAC, Electrical or Plumbing).
• At least five years’ experience performing maintenance duties on contracts of similar size and scope.
• Experience applying ISO, AS9100, or comparable quality standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. citizen and able to pass CBP Background Investigation.
• Current valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Execute electrical and mechanical maintenance activities across the sector(s).
• Decrease equipment downtime through high level troubleshooting and repair.
• Provide redundancy coverage in the sector(s).
• Create and maintain equipment traceability.
• Apply ISO, AS9100 and other quality standards to all activities.
• Interface with Maintenance Technician leads for preventive maintenance plans.
• Collaborate with CBP stakeholders, contracted workforce, and corporate staff.
