Job summary

Solution One Industries in Marfa, Texas, is seeking a Maintenance Technician – Lead to oversee daily repair operations for CBP West Texas and New Mexico sectors. You will guide a team of skilled technicians, manage preventive maintenance plans, and ensure adherence to ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D quality standards in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating electrical and mechanical maintenance, reducing downtime, and mentoring staff while upholding safety

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or apprenticeship in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing preferred.
• 8+ years of maintenance experience on large-scale contracts or equivalent.
• Experience applying ISO 9001/AS9100 or similar quality standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate.
• U.S. citizen and able to pass CBP background check.
• Valid state driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily repair operations and guide a team of skilled trades technicians.
• Coordinate, track, and manage electrical and mechanical maintenance activities.
• Decrease equipment downtime through high-level troubleshooting.
• Create and maintain equipment traceability; ensure compliance with ISO/AS9100 and quality standards.
• Interface with site supervisors to implement preventive maintenance plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support CBP operations.
