Job summary

Fortune Fish & Gourmet is seeking a Maintenance Technician to efficiently and safely perform daily maintenance and repairs across Meat and Seafood Production Rooms, warehouses, coolers/freezers, and dock areas in Boston, MA.

The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, lifting capability of 50 lbs, standing for 8 hours, and occasional travel, with availability Monday–Friday and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum 2–3 years of maintenance experience.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more.
Must be on their feet 8 hours per day.
Must be able to bend at the waist repeatedly and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform daily preventative maintenance and repairs in Meat and Seafood Production Rooms, Warehouses, and Dock/Logistics areas.
Coordinate with Operations Production Manager, FSQA, and Supervisors to address opportunities and implement solutions.
Maintain safe, clean, and organized production, storage, and maintenance areas.
Adhere to SOPs, drive proactive analytics, and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
Travel occasionally, including potential overnights, as required.
Handle other duties as assigned.
