Job summary

JSB Industries Inc in Lawrence, MA is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician to join a growing snack and healthy foods manufacturing facility. Immediate openings with competitive salary, retention bonus, overtime opportunities and hands-on training.

The role focuses on maintaining shop equipment, electrical, plumbing and machine repair, with lifting up to 50 lbs and OSHA safety guidelines. Shadowing existing technicians and structured onboarding are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or technical training equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preventive and urgent maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
• Assist in routine maintenance of production machines and equipment.
• Perform building maintenance as needed.
• Regularly clean and lubricate machinery.
• Regularly inspect plant equipment and moving parts.
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Knowledge of welding, plumbing and pneumatic.
• Read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Work with three phase motors, programmable controls, circuits, computer interfaces.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480 volts.
• Must have at least 2 years in industrial electrical/mechanical support.
• Know OSHA safety requirements, especially electrical and mechanical.
