Rich Products Corporation, a global family-owned food company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Chicago Heights plant. You will perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs, and preventive maintenance on plant equipment to minimize downtime.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance, and experience with power and hand tools. English fluency and the ability to lift 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical School graduate preferred.
• Three or more years of experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of power and hand tools.
• Must communicate in a professional manner with all employee levels at the plant.

Responsabilités

• Perform basic mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic repair and preventive maintenance on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical failures.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs to minimize downtime.
• Perform welding, cutting and soldering using electric and gas equipment.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders; support pipe fitting, boiler making, insulating, welding, and carpentry as needed.
