$30.00/hr - $40.00/hr

Job Details

Title: Maintenance Technician - Food Manufacturing (Weekends)

Location: McDonough, GA 30253 (Southeast Atlanta)

Hourly Rate: $32 - $40 / Hour + Overtime

Working Hours: Friday - Sunday, 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am on Weekends

Founded in 1986, our company is a manufacturer of frozen pancakes with 650 employees, operating two facilities (Little Rock, AR and McDonough, GA), serving customers across the US, Canada, and Mexico. We aim to hire a Maintenance Technician for our McDonough facility who can work weekends and has strong maintenance & electrical experience, including PLC systems, preventative maintenance, HVAC, and Ammonia.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot & maintain plant machinery such as mixers, conveyors, compressors, motors & pumps
• Diagnose or replace electrical control devices like switches, photo eyes, proximity sensors, pushbuttons, contactors, motor starters
• Handle hydraulic, pneumatic & basic electrical power components troubleshooting and repairs
• Utilize PLCs (Allen Bradley) & other automated control systems for troubleshooting and repairs
• Read ladder logic using RS Logix
• Perform work order repairs, inspections, adjustments, and preventative maintenance
• Collaborate with production & refrigeration personnel to resolve plant issues
• Assist in developing SOPs & duty cycles for repairs & maintenance
• Interpret specifications, schematics, manuals

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in food & beverage manufacturing
• Strong experience with Ammonia systems
• Proficiency with electrical meters, maintenance tools, MS Office
• Electrical, PLC, pneumatic & mechanical skills
• Solid background in HVAC systems
• Ability to work weekends
