Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair mechanical systems across our properties. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders from resident requests, and perform make-ready tasks to prepare units for leasing.

This role requires EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certifications, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings or weekends as needed. Dress code safety and OSHA guidelines apply.

• Experience in building maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Makes-ready for vacant units by inspecting, listing tasks, and coordinating with vendors.
• Researches and secures materials, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor for re-orders.
• Documents work orders promptly and accurately for tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, performs cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
