Job summary

Blue Roof Property Management, LLC is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support our property management operations both in the office and out in the field. The role balances in-office reporting with field maintenance and inspections, designed for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who enjoys a mix of desk work and hands-on tasks.

You will perform general repairs, coordinate with vendors, supervise turnovers, and ensure timely reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Minimum of one year maintenance experience in appliance repair, basic electrical, basic plumbing, painting and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• General repairs and maintenance including minor plumbing, electrical, appliance, HVAC repairs; door/window/siding repair and painting.
• Coordinate and complete resident turnovers and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Respond promptly to ongoing maintenance needs within prescribed guidelines.
• Coordinate and schedule with exterior vendors for complex repairs.
• Maintain interior and exterior common areas and perform related cleaning and upkeep.
• Occasionally participate in after-hours on-call service.
• Perform property inspections and identify maintenance concerns.
• Post legal notices as assigned.
• Provide repair progress reports within prescribed timelines.
• Keep timesheets, mileage, inventory, and other reporting up to date.
• Other duties as required.
