Seminole Classic Casino pioneered Indian gaming when it opened as the country’s first large stakes bingo hall in 1979, eventually expanding with gaming machines and poker.

The landmark casino is now home to over 1,000 state-of-the-art, newest-title slot machines and other local favorites such as Diamond Lottos, Fort Knox, Pirate’s Loot. The gaming leader also offers 24/7 live table game action with games including Blackjack, Baccarat, Spanish 21, Three Card Poker and many more.

Seminole Classic Casino also features the Hollywood Hall entertainment pavilion and the Stage Bar, a full-service bar that features live entertainment nightly. Under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor the incumbent; responds to all General Maintenance service calls.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

May include but are not limited to: Must adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures. Responds to maintenance service calls in a timely manner. Fills out maintenance request forms when task is complete and turns them in to the Maintenance Shift Supervisor. General repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and all other guest and facilities work requests. Maintains technical logs and records all relevant data as appropriate. Knowledge of Seminole Classic Casino policies, procedures and schedules to insure minimal interruption to business operations and to prioritize projects appropriately. Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times. Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility. Performs all other related and compatible/non-compatible duties as assigned. Repairs, replaces or adjusts defective parts; installs special functional and structural parts in devices; lubricates and cleans parts. Maintain air conditioning units by routine maintenance of filters, drain lines, etc.; control the temperature of the facility to ensure the comfort of employees and customers. Sets up and operates tools and other equipment to fabricate or repair parts. Maintains proper equipment inventories in shop areas. Assembles and installs furniture, carts, racks, shelving, etc. Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements. Inspect electrical outlets and wiring and repair or replace as needed to ensure the safety of all who use the facility; replace lights inside and outside the building as required to ensure proper illumination both inside and outside the facility. Performs preventive maintenance and repairs relative to plumbing, electrical, mechanical, heating, and cooling or ventilation systems as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or technical certificate as well as a minimum of one (1) to three (3) years’ experience with commercial/industrial plumbing or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Must possess excellent hand/eye coordination as well as close vision. Must be able to read, understand and interpret schematics, plans, and diagrams and drawings. WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Must be able to work in a smoking environment Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Prolonged period of walking, reaching, climbing and moving/carrying weight of up 50 to 100 lbs. Must be able to work in high and low/precarious places, be near fiberglass insulation and under sinks and cabinets.
