Job summary

The Phoenix at Milton is looking for a Facilities Assistant to support the Facilities Director in maintaining the community. You will perform minor repairs, coordinate with vendors, and assist with daily operations to keep common areas safe and welcoming.

This role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of related experience, with flexibility for weekend work and shifts. Strong communication and a service orientation are essential to support residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED required.
• One (1) year job related experience.

Responsibilities

• Review maintenance tasks daily and document completion.
• Inspect furniture and coordinate maintenance with vendors.
• Perform minor repairs (plumbing fixtures, lighting, doors) and assist with general maintenance.
• Hang bulletin boards and install fixtures in resident areas and offices.
• Coordinate with Facilities Director, Executive Director and external vendors.
• Assist with painting, furniture moving and safe transportation of materials.
