Job summary

Genpak is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our Texas facility. The role focuses on maintaining extrusion and thermoforming machinery, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating with shift supervision to maximize uptime and safety.

You'll read schematics, diagnose pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and execute repairs with little supervision while adhering to Infor inventory controls and plant sanitation standards. 12-hour shifts and OT are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years experience of manufacturing maintenance including welding and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment, machinery and building in good working order and repair as necessary.
• Coordinate all job assignments with Shift Supervisor to maximize uptime and efficiency.
• Oversee PM Operator functions and ensure documentation and safety procedures are followed.
• Diagnose and repair pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic systems with minimal supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety programs per schedule and complete work orders timely.
• Manage maintenance parts inventory per Infor system and plant sanitation standards.
