Responsibilities include interpreting work orders and blueprints, operating production machinery, testing equipment for defects, performing repairs to minimize production disruption, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while following all safety and environmental policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in industrial maintenance or journeyman status preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in an industrial setting preferred.
• Ability to operate mobile industrial equipment and pass training.
• Ability to work overtime on short notice.
• Good communication skills - written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety, quality and environmental policies and procedures.
• Receive and interpret instructions, work orders, and blueprints for repairs and inspections.
• Operate production machinery and test equipment for defects and malfunctions.
• Determine best repair approach to minimize production interruption.
• Perform permanent or temporary repairs and set up, align, or replace components.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and report abnormal conditions.
• Notify supervisor of shutdowns when necessary and follow supervisor instructions.
