Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure safe troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of equipment and facilities. The role requires following safety and quality policies, interpreting work orders, and performing repairs to minimize production downtime.

You will operate production machinery, inspect equipment for defects, and perform necessary adjustments or replacements. Strong communication and flexibility for overtime are essential in this hands-on position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in industrial maintenance or journeyman status preferred.
• 2-5 years of prior industrial experience preferred.
• Ability to operate mobile industrial equipment and pass company training.
• Ability to work overtime on short notice.
• Good communication skills – written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety, environmental and quality policies and procedures.
• Receive and interpret work orders, blueprints, and instructions for repairs and inspections.
• Operate production machinery and test equipment for defects or wear.
• Dismantle, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment to safe, efficient conditions.
• Set up and use simple machine tools for minor machining operations.
• Install piping, fixtures, and electrical panels; perform welding and rigging as needed.
