Job summary

Greencroft Communities is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician for Golden Years Homestead to assist with day-to-day upkeep of our senior living community. If you enjoy fixing things or want to learn maintenance and building trades, this could be a great starting opportunity, and prior maintenance experience is helpful, but training is available.

Mon–Fri daytime hours with rotating on-call evening and weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Reliable and willing to learn.
• Ability to perform hands-on maintenance and outdoor tasks.
• Maintenance, construction, landscaping or skilled-trade experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Completing maintenance requests and work orders.
• Handling basic repairs and general building upkeep.
• Painting and touch-up projects.
• Floor care and other facility maintenance.
• Helping with landscaping and seasonal outdoor work.
• Keeping maintenance supplies, tools and equipment organized.
• Following safety procedures and keeping work areas safe.
