ADM Enderlin, ND seeks a Maintenance Technician to safely install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment in a fast-paced facility. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, read manuals and blueprints, and support improvements across motors, pumps, conveyors, and related systems.

This is a non-exempt level position.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for safely installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding production equipment to support high-quality production and continuous improvement efforts. This role works under general supervision and performs a variety of maintenance duties involving motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, conveying systems, pumps, and other production equipment.
Maintain, monitor, and adjust production equipment
Complete preventive and predictive maintenance requirements to ensure machinery is functioning properly
Replace motors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, conveying systems, pumps, and other production equipment
Interact regularly with peers and management to support continuous improvement of facility operations
Promote a teamwork-focused environment
Communicate with team members and shift employees regarding equipment operation, flow rate changes, processing capabilities, safety concerns, product quality issues, and maintenance issues
Understand and follow ADM safety, environmental compliance, and food quality requirements
Support the goal of achieving a zero-injury culture
Maintain regular and prompt attendance in accordance with company policy
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all safety procedures
Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of work areas
Inspect equipment to ensure it is in proper mechanical and electrical condition
Alert management of any equipment or maintenance issues
Locate sources of mechanical problems by observing equipment in operation and using precision testing devices
Read manuals and blueprints to understand equipment and controls
Repair and rebuild pumps, gear units, air equipment, hydraulic equipment, conveying equipment, and other equipment as needed
Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies appropriately
Provide mechanical information by answering questions and requests
Complete Maximo work orders accurately and submit them daily to management
Contribute to team efforts in other areas of the plant
Maintain attention to detail when performing all work
Perform other duties as assigned
Work overtime, weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice as needed
Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule for seven consecutive days as required

Ability to lift and transport materials and equipment weighing up to 40 pounds frequently, up to 55 pounds occasionally, and up to 50 pounds overhead
Ability to walk up to two miles during the course of a workday
Must be 18 years of age or older
Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience
Experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the maintenance field
Experience using judgment to plan and accomplish maintenance goals
Ability to complete ADM safety, food safety, quality, and environmental training
Ability to participate in company-planned operations training
Experience repairing and rebuilding pumps, gear units, air equipment, hydraulic equipment, and conveying equipment
Experience using Maximo or similar work order systems
Experience operating or training on equipment such as JLG, forklift, reach lift, or similar equipment
Experience working in a production, manufacturing, agricultural processing, or industrial environment
Experience participating in preventive and predictive maintenance programs

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
