Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and adjust production equipment
• Complete preventive and predictive maintenance requirements to ensure machinery is functioning properly
• Replace motors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, conveying systems, pumps, and other production equipment
• Interact with peers and management to support continuous improvement of facility operations
• Promote a teamwork-focused environment
• Communicate with team members regarding equipment operation, safety concerns, and maintenance issues
• Understand and follow ADM safety, environmental compliance, and food quality requirements
• Support the goal of achieving a zero-injury culture
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all safety procedures
• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of work areas
• Inspect equipment to ensure it is in proper mechanical and electrical condition
• Read manuals and blueprints to understand equipment and controls
• Repair and rebuild pumps, gear units, air equipment, hydraulic equipment, conveying equipment
• Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies appropriately
• Provide mechanical information by answering questions and requests
• Complete Maximo work orders daily and submit them to management
• Participate in rotating 24/7 on-call schedule

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for safely installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding production equipment to support high-quality production and continuous improvement efforts. This role works under general supervision and performs a variety of maintenance duties involving motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, conveying systems, pumps, and other production equipment.

Education Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Required Experience:

Must be 18 years of age or olderMinimum of 2 years of maintenance experienceExperience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the maintenance fieldExperience using judgment to plan and accomplish maintenance goalsAbility to complete ADM safety, food safety, quality, and environmental trainingAbility to participate in company-planned operations training.

Desired Experience:
