Job summary

ADM is seeking a versatile maintenance technician for 2nd or 3rd shift in Camp Hill. You will repair and maintain industrial equipment, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, install and replace drives, breakers, motors, and read blueprints.

The role requires at least 2 years instrumentation experience or related schooling, experience with CMMS (Maximo), a safety‑first mindset, and good communication to collaborate with teams.

Qualifications

  • 2 years instrumentation experience and/or equivalent degree or schooling in industrial or commercial setting.
  • Able to run conduit, troubleshoot, replace breakers, drives, relays, and read blue prints.
  • Strong safety-focus and willingness to learn welding.

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain machinery and equipment.
  • Operate hoists, lift trucks, bobcat, telehandler and power tools.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and pneumatic systems; replace motors and bearings.
  • Follow maintenance schedules and preventives; adhere to GMP/HACCP policies.

Job description

Position will be 2nd shift (1pm until 11pm Monday to Thursday 4 -10’s) or 3rd shift (10pm until 7:00am Sunday night to Friday mornings 5 – 9’s) and will start early or stay late for maintenance repair days.

On call for 1 week Monday morning to Monday morning then off call for 6 weeks when fully staffed.

  • Microsoft office, Maximo or CMMS experience
  • 2 years instrumentation experience and/or equivalent degree or schooling (industrial or commercial setting); able to run conduit, troubleshoot, replace breakers, drives, relays, and read blue prints
  • Electromechanical - Trouble shooting
  • Packer / Palletizer troubleshooting
  • Preform Preventive Maintenance / Follow Maintenance Schedule
  • Install and maintain machinery and equipment.
  • Operate hoists, lift trucks, bobcat, telehandler, hand tools and power tools.
  • Snow Removal and Salting
  • Troubleshoot mechanical failures and pneumatic systems.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical safety devices (breakers, fuses, etc.) and how to replace them.
  • Know how to replace motors and bearings.
  • Demonstrated safe work behavior and a sincere desire to follow and improve upon safety policies and procedures
  • Welding is a plus not necessary but should be willing to learn.
  • Excellent communication & organizational skills; able to collaborate with colleagues and management teams to complete assignments in a timely manner and a positive attitude.
  • Willing to improve technical skills through on‑job and/or outside training.
  • Commitment to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero injury culture by being an active participant in safety programs
  • Understand and follow company safety procedures
  • Watch for and report all safety issues
  • Follow all GMP and HACCP policies

We are looking for a maintenance tech that can do a little bit of everything and has experience but a stronger knowledge of electrical systems and components.

3 To 5 Years’ Experience Is Preferred.

ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non‑exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an “at‑will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The Pay For This Position Is Expected To Be

starting at $32/hr
