Job summary

MCC is seeking a Maintenance Tech/Electrician to ensure electrical schematics and instrumentation are calibrated, troubleshoot during downtime, perform repairs and preventive maintenance. The role supports Lean Manufacturing and 5S to optimize production.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to read schematics are required. The position includes standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a multi-skills maintenance team across shifts.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
• Reading electrical schematics; vocational maintenance training certificate preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and identify process improvements; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
• Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service in a multi-shift environment
• Performs duties including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines
• Supports an optimized production environment by applying Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles
• Responsible for maintaining and repairing the facility
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
