Job summary

MCC Label is seeking a Maintenance Tech/Electrician to ensure electrical schematics and instrumentation are current, troubleshoot during downtime, perform repairs, and complete preventive maintenance across a multi-shift operation.

Responsibilities include emergency repairs, scheduled maintenance, and supporting Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives. Requires reading schematics and a maintenance certificate, with strong problem-solving skills and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
• Reading electrical schematics preferred with vocational maintenance training.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Ability to multitask and identify process improvements.
• Strong problem-solving skills to assess equipment output.
• Physical ability to climb stairs, bend, stand, walk and handle materials for extended periods.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stoop, squat, crawl and kneel as needed.
• Frequent walking required.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on production equipment across multiple shifts.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and 5S in the production environment.
• Maintain and repair facility as needed.
• Take part in special projects and other duties as assigned.
